He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Happel Sr. and Jessie Goodlett (Hampton). He is survived by: his wife Ann Happel (Armes) of Scottsburg, Indiana; his children, Christina Turner of Jeffersonville, Indiana and Douglas Turner (Lisa) of Crothersville, Indiana; and his grandchildren, Emily and Dylan.
