He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert King and Radia King (Davis); and his siblings, Leo, Robert "Bobby" King, Vickie Cooper, Connie Sue Stamper, Mary Brandenburg and Glenda Brickley.

He is survived by: his wife Katrina King (Eversole); his daughter Starr Schroeder (Jason Corbin) of Lancaster, Pennsylvania; his siblings, Barbara Jones of Little York, Gladys Carey of Lexington, Rhonda Smith of Scottsburg, Indiana, Dallas King of Crothersville, Johnny King of Scottsburg, Charles King of Melbourne, Joe King of Detroit and Jessie King of Bedford, Indiana; and his grandchildren, Kaylee, Isaac and Isabella Schroeder.
