It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Flossie Borders of Scottsburg, Indiana, born in Decatur, Illinois, who passed away on December 2, 2020, at the age of 105, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Dant and Vlaga Dant (Frieneck); her husband John B. Borders; and her daughters, Patsy and Edith "Edie" Borders.
She is survived by: her children, Kash Lafferty of Scottsburg, Tim Borders of Austin, Paul Lafferty of Brazil, Indiana and Daisy Caddell of Westport. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic graveside services will be private at Spurgeon Cemetery with Matt Craig officiating.
