She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Lee Cheatham and Elizabeth Louise Cheatham-Avery (Dillander). She is survived by: her children, LaWanda Chase (Scott) of Louisville, Karen M. Davenport of Jacksonville, Florida and Mark Avery of Scottsburg, Indiana; and her sisters, Mary Kathryn "Kaye" Carr (Roger) of Scottsburg, Margaret Collins (Boyd) of Little York, Donna Garriott (Dewayne) of Scottsburg, Linda Humphrey (Jimmy) of Louisville, Kentucky and Carolyn Edds (Joe) of Louisville, Kentucky. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation and services will be open to the public as long as social distancing guidelines can be observed.
