It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Delmer Strong of Scottsburg, Indiana, born in Chavies, Kentucky, who passed away on July 29, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlo Strong and Pearl Strong (Baker); his wife Bonnie C. Strong (Foley); and his granddaughter Angela Brooks. He is survived by: his children, Nancy Hahn (John) of Osceola, Indiana and Tom Stump (Nancy) of North Liberty, Indiana.; his granddaughters, Michele Litteral (Jim) of Mishawaka, Indiana, Rebecca Mullins (Gery) of Mishawaka, Indiana and Kristy Kelly (Adam) of Salem, Indiana; and his siblings, Alex, Mabel, Arnold, Curt, Rita, Maudella, Bert and Lillie Jean Strong. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
