He was predeceased by: his parents, Arley Bowers and Elizabeth Clark Bowers; and his brother Marvin Bowers. He is survived by: his children, Steve Bowers (Monica) of Scottsburg, Mike Bowers of Scottsburg, Sean Bowers of Scottsburg, Melissa Baker of New Salisbury and Shanda Bowers of Jeffersonville; his brothers, Boyd Bowers of Salem, Ronald Bowers (Cathy) of Livonia and Larry Bowers of Maybrook, NY; and his close friend Tonya Witt. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
