It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bessie Lee Riley of Scottsburg, Indiana, born in Hazard, Kentucky, who passed away on February 21, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Grigsby and Ethel Grigsby; and her husband Zack Riley. She is survived by: her children, Allen Scribner of Trevor, Suzette Barrett of Lexington and Pamela Newby of Scottsburg; and her sister Brenda Chambers of Kentucky. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
