It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosemary M. Szymkowski of Schererville, Indiana, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on October 26, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Szczepkowski and Stephanie Szczepkowski. She is survived by: her sister Sister Mary Monica Szczepkowski; her children, Gloria Baumgartner (Robert), Donna Sablotny (Dean), Robert Szymkowski (Virginia) and Thomas Szymkowski (Julia); her grandchildren, Scott Baumgartner (Jolene), Brian Baumgartner, Ryan Sablotny (Lacey), Colin Sablotny (Whitney), Tyler Szymkowski (Nora) and Courtney Szymkowski (Michael); and her great grandchildren, Savanah Reyes, Annabelle Baumgartner, Shepherd Sablotny, Madeline, Mason Sablotny and Edaline Szymkowski. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
