The passing of Lois Jean Stob of Schererville, Indiana leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on February 25, 2025 at the age of 81. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her sisters, Elaine, Joanne and Evelyn; and her parents, Peter Kortenhoeven and Coba Kortenhoeven.
She is survived by: her husband John Stob; her daughters, Lisa Bulten (Tom), Julie Bouma (Nate) and Jennifer Osman (Rick); her grandchildren, Jessica Christensen (Matt), Mitchel Bouma, Meghan Caringella (Felix), Peter Bulten (Emily), Josh Bulten (Rachel), Bethany Osman, David Bulten and Jonny Bouma; her great grandchildren, Noah, Lucas, Samuel and Lylah; her siblings, Mary Brummel, Bob Kortenhoeven (Sandy) and Deb Kortenhoeven; and her sister-in-law Lois MacCambridge.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Bethel Christian Reformed Church (3500 Glenwood Lansing Rd, Lansing, IL 60438). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
