George Strogilos Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Strogilos of Schererville, Indiana, who passed away on February 8, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of George Strogilos to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stavros Strogilos and Evangeline Strogilos; and his siblings, Emanuel, Ermioni, Phillip and John Strogilos.
He is survived by: his wife Anna Strogilos; his children, Maria Pyrros (Nikolaos), Angie Boulas (Pete) and Stavros Strogilos (Angela); his granddaughter Ana Angelos (Peter); his children, Angeliki, Melina, Elizabeth, Chrisovalandou, Georgia and Stelios; his great grandchild Anastasia; and his sisters, Maria Papamihalakis and Despina Georgiafendis. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral (8000 Madison St, Merrillville, IN 46410). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
