He was predeceased by: his parents, George Riffe and Irene Mitchum Riffe; his grandson James Jacob Riffe; and his stepbrother Clifford Bailey. He is survived by: his wife Helen L. Copley Riffe; his children, Dave Riffe (Becky) of Decatur, Jeff Riffe (Michelle) of Rockville, John Riffe (Nam) of Rockville, Kevin Riffe (Brooke) of Rockville, Carolynn Ball (Michael) of Noblesville and Marilynn Hoover (Jamie) of Bloomingdale; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Tunison, Josh Riffe, Nyla Arnold, Amanda Mapp (Riffe), Megan Daciola (Riffe), Nerina Zandy, Nathaniel Forbeck, Akash Lewis, Emma Riffe, Steven Ball, Stephanie Beale (Ball), Cameron Ball, Alexis Degano (Berry) and Cade Hoover. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
