It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wanda Powell (Richmond, Indiana), born in Richmond, Kentucky, who passed away on February 11, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Powell and Ruby Powell; her grandmother JC; and her brothers, Robert, Ernen and Albert Wayne.
She is survived by: her husband Paul Barnett; her foster sons, Charles and Gary; her siblings-in-law, James Jackson, John Bond, Elvin Cook and Margaret Barnett; her sisters, Betty and Ruby; her parents-in-law, James and Mary Barnett; and her brothers-in-law, Bill Black and Oliver Blevins. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
