He is survived by: his significant other Sally Graham Ellis; his daughters, Jennifer Ellis (Allen Lowe), Tonja Thompson (Tony) and Cindy Murray (Kyle); his brother Dr. Robert L. Ellis; his grandsons, Dustin Thompson, Cody Thompson, Christopher Murray, Corey and Alexa Murray; and his great grandchildren, Christopher Murray Jr. and Ian Murray. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
