He was predeceased by: his father Charles E. Sparks; and his brothers, Ken, Gene and Sidney Sparks. He is survived by: his mother Elsie Reece Sparks; and his sons, Paul Sparks (Jody) of Richmond and Scott Allen Sparks of Richmond. He is also survived by several nieces, and nephews, as well as many lifelong friends.
