She was predeceased by: her parents, Roger Stults and Ruby Harper Stults; her former husband Bill Bales; her husband Carl Butler; her siblings, Max Stults, Darryl Stults and Charline Stults Knoll; her stepdaughter Kathy Butler Burns; and her granddaughter Breanna Bales.
She is survived by: her children, Jack Bales (Carolyn) of Richmond, Indiana and Debby Ahaus (Rick) of The Villages, Florida; her stepchildren, Jane Lunsford (Rodney) of Westfield, Indiana and Robert Butler (Marlies) of Urbana, Ohio; and her grandchildren, Jackie Shroyer (Shane) of Fountain City, Jon Bales (Rachel) of Richmond, Craig Jenkins of Elmhurst and Dave Jenkins of Denver. She is also survived by great grandchildren; several step grandchildren; step great grandchildren; and great great grandchildren.
