He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Jr. Shelley and Maxine Roberts Shelley. He is survived by: his children, Joe Shelley (Misty) of Dayton and Jamie Shelley of Richmond; his grandchildren, Tristan, Jenna, Jade, Celeste, Joseph and Ava; his pet Zoey Hexum; and his siblings, Marshall Shelley, Marilyn Handley and Mildred Farmer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
