She was predeceased by: her parents, Dinno Bowers and Stella L. Bauer Bowers; her husband Arthur Thompson; and her siblings, Nancy Blanks and Eddie Bowers.

She is survived by: her sons, Rodney Hill of Richmond and Jeffrey Hill of Ohio; and her grandchild Bayle Hill of Toledo, Ohio. She is also survived by 3 great grandchildren.
