It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Gene Carter Sr. of Richmond, Indiana, who passed away on October 23, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Carter and Addie Carter; and his siblings, Kent, Leroy, Tommy, Jack and Savanna.
He is survived by: his children, Shlon Taylor (William), Chastity Cox (Eddie), Angie Bane (Tony), Larry Carter (Valerie) and Tommy Carter (Indy); his brother Jerry Carter (Jackie); his grandchildren, Savanna Dunbar (Andre), Bill Taylor (Jaymee), Chalan Cox, Alexis Carter (Demarcus), Rylan Carter, Journee Carter, Caden Carter and Re'Nessa Carter; his great grandchildren, Domonique, Ember, Ziyahn, Ayris, Arya and Scarlett; and his close friends, Loretta Carter and Darryl Twine. He is also survived by cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
