Golden Cottongim Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 26, 2023, at the age of 92, Golden Cottongim of Richmond, Indiana, born in Manchester, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlyle Cottongim and Mary Jarvis Cottongim; his wife Erma June May Cottongim; his brothers, John and Oscar Cottongim; and his daughter-in-law Marsha Cottongim.

He is survived by: his children, Kerry George, Terry Cottongim (Linda) of Richmond, Indiana, Roger Cottongim of Richmond, Indiana and Jeff Cottongim of Richmond, Indiana; his grandchildren, Lorelei George, Brian Redinger and Meghan Redinger (Brant); his great grandchild Audrey Runkel; and his siblings, Mildred Sparks (Wheeler) of Richmond, Jewel Pinkerton (Tom) of Liberty, Indiana and Orville Cottongim (Anna) of Richmond, Indiana. He is also survived by nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends.
