He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles G. Pollitt and Louise Stephens Pollitt; his wife Stephanie Liebert Pollitt; his son Christopher Lee Pollitt; and his sister Connie Moffitt.
He is survived by: his children, Tony Pollitt (Jaynette) of Arkansas, Gerald Pollitt Jr. of Indiana and Lori Pollitt of Indiana; and his brother Melvin Pollitt of Georgia. He is also survived by six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
