It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Meyers of Richmond, Indiana, who passed away on December 22, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearl Meyers and Marshall Meyers Sr.; his son Christopher Meyers; his siblings, Edith Laytart and Marshall Meyers Jr.; and his close friend Bubba.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Sue Meyers; his children, Johnny Knorpp, Douglas Meyers, Mark Meyers, Matthew Meyers, Marsha Scherer and Carrmon Meyers; his sisters, Patricia McCarter, Virginia Pugh, Carol Meyers and Melody Mullins; his siblings-in-law, Sandy Meyers, Robert Pugh, Daniel Mullins and Justin McCarter; and his close friends, William Kizer, David Edelman, Jeff Erdosy, Clyde Reece, Bill Harrison, Johnny Wells, Emerson Phillips, Art Grubbs and Bill Titus. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
