With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Joan Morris of Richmond, Indiana, born in Hindman, Kentucky, who passed away on January 18, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Hays and Marie Gayheart Hays; and her sister Erma Adams. She is survived by: her husband Gene Morris; her children, Michael Morris (Jennifer) of Connersville, Gregory Morris of Richmond and Stacy Blanton (James) of Richmond; her grandchildren, Brittany, Donovan and Becky; her great grandchildren, Josiah, Elijah, Rylan and Gatlin; her siblings, Shelby Amburgey and Granby Hays; and her siblings-in-law, Betty Lou Steele and Stan Adams. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
