She was predeceased by: her parents, Hobart Rufus Wilhoit and Maggie Berry Elyina Wilhoit; her husband Marion; her son Michael "Cowboy" Tipton; and her siblings, Nora Bates, Beatrice Davenport, Jimmy and Rodney Wilhoit.
She is survived by: her sons, Bruce Tipton (Debbie) of Liberty and Dave Tipton (Emily) of Richmond, Indiana; and her sister Gail Strunk. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren.
