She was predeceased by: her parents, William Schmidt and Marie Schmidt (Whaley); her husband Garry Gibson; her brother Ron Schmidt; her in-laws, Wayne and Jewel Gibson; and her friend Suzie Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Bill Gibson (Christina) of Niles, MI, Sarah Gibson of Brownsburg, IN and Anne Kender (Mick) of Brownsburg, IN; her grandchildren, Billy Gibson of Niles, MI, Lizzy Gibson of Niles, MI and Violet Kender of Brownsburg, IN; her brother Gary Schmidt of Fremont, IN; her mother-in-law Bonnie Gibson of Richmond; and her friends, Donna Leitner, Dee Hemmelgarn, Carol Kalsbeek and Andrea Dudas. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
