She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bond and Mary McCracken Bond; her husband Sheldon Hays; her sons, Ronald Hays and Robert Hays; and her siblings, Frances Irene Jackson, Raymond Bond and Ed Bond.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Abby Gehle (Mitchell), Julia Hays, Samantha Hays and Luke Hays; her great grandchildren, Dean Gehle and Kora Gehle; her siblings, Nonnetta Tinell, Rose Brummett, Odella Martin, John Bond and Carl Bond; and her daughter-in-law Cathy Hays. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
