It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Pettranella Herre of Rensselaer, Indiana, who passed away on October 24, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Cover and Elizabeth Viola Cover (Cox); and her spouse Gene William Herre. She is survived by: her children, Valerie Ann Winegar (Roger) of Rock Rapids, IA, Tina Marie Darnell (Michael) of Rensselaer, IN, Kimberly Kay Byers (Rick) of Rensselaer, IN and Rodney Gene Herre (Christine) of Rensselaer, IN; her grandchildren, Christopher Winegar (Kristen), Courtney Decker (Austin), Mandy Ckark (Kyle), Stefanie Lane (Randy), Heather Hayes (Joe), Stacy Walker (Scott) and Adam Herre (Natalie); her stepgranddaughters, April LaFoy and Heather Ellis (Nathan); and her siblings, George Cover (Linda) of Rensselaer, IN and Elizabeth Viana Lewis. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren, and 5 step great grandchildren.
Interment will follow at Memory Gardens in Rensselaer. ***Social distancing will be observed and masks must be worn at all services due to the current pandemic.***.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in loving memory of Pat may be made to the Franciscan Health – Rensselaer Oncology Department and American Cancer Society.
