He was predeceased by: his parents, John Douglas and Jeneva Douglas (Atnip); his wife Doris "Tess" Douglas (Sinkes); and his son Samuel Lee Douglas. He is survived by: his sons, Charles Douglas of Princeton and David Douglas of Homer, IL; and his sister Carol Mason of Princeton. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
