He was predeceased by: his parents, George Haywood and Thelma Haywood (Jones); and his brothers, George Ivan and Richard D. Haywood. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy King; his daughter Dorothy; his granddaughters, Rhonda Alleman (Brian) and Cheryl Shinkle (Ron); and his great grandchildren, David Shinkle, Daniel Shinkle (Brooke), Marci Arroyo (Joe) and Ashlee Spencer (Kendall).
