He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ramon Salazar and Cesaria Cantu Salazar; his spouse Guadalupe Hernandez; his children, Ramon Salazar III (Joellen) of Bourbon, Maria Salazar King of San Antonio, Ross Salazar (Ria) of Bourbon and LuAnn Houston (Kenneth) of Seymour; and his siblings, America Bernal of Elsa, Raquel Garcia of Elsa, Anita, Aurora, Cristela and Rodolfo. He was also cherished by nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren.
