He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Dyer and Esther Dyer (Andrews); his wife Linda Leed; his son Paul Jr.; and his stepdaughter Rachel.
He is survived by: his daughter Michelle Dyer of Bremen; his stepdaughter Jill Krou (Dennis Hummel) of LaPaz; his sons, Kevin Dyer of LaPaz and Brad Dyer of Plymouth; and his siblings, Diane Gaffigan and Dale Dyer (Karen) of South Bend. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
