He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Glen Mattix and Beatrice Mattix (Driebelbis); his wife Donna of Plymouth; his children, Carol Mattix of Louisville, KY and Duane Mattix (Susan) of Plymouth; his grandchildren, Kelsey Leonard O'Brian (Matthew) of Plymouth, Megan Leonard (Katie) of New Albany, IN, Brandon Mattix (Sarah) of Plymouth and Derek Mattix of Bloomington, IN; his great grandchildren, Payton, Jaxson England, Lucas, Boden Mattix, Elora and Everest O'Brien; and his grandson Tyler James Mattix.
