He was predeceased by: his parents, Wendell H. Watkins and Freida Watkins (Pearcy); his son Jay E. Watkins; his granddaughters, Hannah and Heidi; and his siblings, Jane Burkett, Mary Jo Brinson, Phyllis Nichols and Robert Watkins.
He is survived by: his children, Janet Hinton (Charles) of Argos, IN and Chad Watkins (Amy Grove) of Etna Green, IN; and his grandchild Regan Watkins.
