She was predeceased by: her parents, Riley "Shack" and Emma Fowler (Harbison); and her son Ronald Theodore Kortea. She is survived by: her husband Donald Rex Kortea; her sons, Donald Robert and Kenneth Dewayne Kortea; her sisters, Pansy L. Smith, Imogen Boker, Norma J. Stafford and Diana Sue Jones; her sister-in-law Janet Fowler; and her foster daughters, Amy Schmit and Tamara West. She is also survived by six grandchildren; several great & great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
