He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil M. Eskridge and Pauline E. Eskridge (Matlock); his wife Doris Eskridge (Davis); and his siblings, Virgil Eskridge Jr. and Jane Eskridge.
He is survived by: his daughter Rosella Lester (Robert) of Paragon; his siblings, Nola Hughey (Mike) of Martinsville, Paulette Northern (Robert) of Morgantown and Paul Eskridge of Georgia; and his grandchildren, Timothy Thomas of Martinsville, Katlyn Parr of Illinois, Victoria Cooper of Bloomington, Alexandria of Paragon, Angel of Paragon and Mary Lester of Paragon. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
