Alice Young Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alice Young (Paragon, Indiana), who passed away on May 8, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Russell and Sarah Lucille Smith (Campbell); her husband David Max Young; and her siblings, James Smith, Charles Smith, Dort Donnelly, Jean Kamysz, Marilyn Waites and Sara Kuykendall.
She is survived by: her children, Steven D. Young of Colorado Springs, David Rex Young of Mooresville, Terry L. Curry of Pahrump and Susan Jill Phillips of Paragon; and her sister Barbara Joachim of Castroville, California. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Angels on Guard of Paragon Christian Church -- Alice was a charter member of Angels on Guard which is a woman's organization serving the congregation and community-, the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research or to any charitable organization of your choice.
