He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul "Toodie" Garrett and Myrtle "Nook" Garrett (Harper); and his parents-in-law, Paul and Charlotte Holder. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Garrett; his children, Aaron Garrett (Tricia), Amy Fisher (Eric) and Alan Garrett (Kiely); his sister Janice Poston; and his grandchildren, Wade Fisher, Haley Fisher, Sam Garrett, Will Garrett, Vera Garrett and Eli Garrett. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
