We are sad to announce that on December 27, 2020, at the age of 66, Hazel Kay Abel of Orleans, Indiana, born in Mitchell, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father John Earl. She is survived by: her mother Vera Turpin (Meadows); her husband George Abel of Orleans; her children, George Abel III (Kelly) of Orleans and Samantha Kay Fox (Jim) of Mitchell; and her siblings, Lana Miller (Bill) of Mitchell, Rita East (Terry) of Bedford, Jeanetta Anderson (Kevin) of Princeton, IN, John Turpin Jr. (Angela) of Mitchell, Stormi George of Mitchell and Leatha Thurman (Guy) of Memphis, IN.. She is also survived by nine grandchildren.
