He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Vanek and Bessie Vanek (Dolezal); and his sisters, Maryann Vanek and Alene Menis. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Cox; his sisters, Doris Neumaier (Harry) and Patricia Vanek; his children, Lisa Hesting (Brian) and Joe Vanek (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Lauren, Caidy Hesting, Keith Pingel (Jessica) and Kaitlyn Torres (Victor); and his great grandchildren, Draven Pingel, Gabriel, Lucia and Delilah Torres.
