She is survived by: her pet Phoenix; her parents, Fern R. Parkerson (Whitehead) and William L. Parkerson; her children, Adam Genis of Westville, Kimberly Mills (Genis) of Portage and Zachary Genis of Lake Station; her grandchildren, Elise Graham, Nash Mills and Nora Mills; and her siblings, Bill Parkerson (Las Vegas), Carol Campbell (Utah), Matt Parkerson (Texas) and Karen Abrams (Las Vegas).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Adam, Kim, or Zack to help cover costs.
