He was predeceased by: his parents, James Brotherton and Jesse Brotherton (McClain); his wife Betsy Brotherton; and his son Timothy Brotherton. He is survived by: his children, Jon Brotherton and Sara Harmon (Brant). He is also survived by four grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
