With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia R. Pickett (New Haven, Indiana), born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, who passed away on February 23, 2021 at the age of 103. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James W. Butler and Goldie Butler (Densel); her husband Herschel; her grandson David Pickett; and her great grandchild Austin Pickett.

She is survived by: her sons, Nyle Pickett (Sue) of Coldwater, MI, Stan Pickett (Barb) of New Haven and James Pickett (Jane) of Fort Wayne; and her grandchildren, Dennis Pickett (Cindy), Denise Cheviron (Mike), Todd Pickett (Ann), Steve Pickett, Doug Pickett (Stef), Josh Pickett (Jill), Jake Pickett (Samantha) and Nicholas Holliday (Emily). She is also survived by 22 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
