He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin "Mike" and Joetta Adams (Jackson). He is survived by: his wife Alice Adams (Lillich); his daughters, Michelle Shumaker (Roger) of La Porte and Annette Adams of Nantucket, MA; his siblings, Dennis "Quince" Adams (Becky) of Decatur and Margarette Miller of Decatur; and his granddaughter Scarlett Morgan of Cleveland. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
