He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Niemeyer and Elizabeth Niemeyer. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Niemeyer; his children, Christy Bill (Mike) of New Haven, IN, Ryan Niemeyer of New Haven, IN, Danielle Minnick (Jeff) of Fort Wayne and Jason Niemeyer (Haley Vandurmen) of New Haven, IN; and his siblings, Jan Leach (Mike), Donna Niemeyer, Denise Stefanski (Barry Whitman), Michael Niemeyer and Teresa Niemeyer. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
