He was predeceased by: his parents, John Carl and Flora Meyer (Helms); his wife Mary "Louise" Meyer (Watts); his grandson Jeff Ladig; and his sister Betty Bleashka.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Ladig, Lucy LaHurreau-Light (David) and John Meyer (Betty). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
