He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Minick and Catherine Minick (Salmon); his wife Evelyn Minick (Bowers); his son Roger Minick; his grandson Lee Minick; his brothers, Robert, Jim and Don Minick; and his son-in-law Moses Kauffman.
He is survived by: his children, Jerry Minick (Peggy) of Fort Wayne, John Minick of Fort Wayne, Diane Minick of Fort Wayne, Kay Kauffman of New Haven, Susan Gerig (Ken) of New Haven and Judy Patton (John) of Hudson; and his brother David Minick of Huntington. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren.
