He was predeceased by: his sister Mary Margaret Smith. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Lawson (Shassere); his sons, Alan Lawson (Janet), Ken Lawson, Bradley Lawson and Douglas Lawson (Alice); his granddaughter Katie Landrum (Ricky); and his siblings, John Lawson (Shirley), Pat Vandivier (Bill) and Saralou Zimmer of Angola. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
