We are sad to announce that on March 9, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Miriam H. Parris (New Albany, Indiana), born in Gaffney, South Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Forrest C. Hammett and Mary Ethel Hammett (Allen); and her brothers, Gene, Wayne and Jerry Hammett.

She is survived by: her sons, William D. "Bill" Parris (Monica) of New Albany, IN, Alan R. Parris (Cheryl) of Greenville, SC, Joel M Parris (Amy) of Rock Hill, SC and John C. (Laurie). She is also survived by ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate consideration for donations to First Baptist Church, Sellersburg, IN.
