He was predeceased by: his parents, Forest Martin and Gertrude Bates; his granddaughter Angela Martin; and his brothers, Orrill Martin and Darrell Martin.

He is survived by: his wife Connie Martin (Koehler); his children, Carrie Martin (Janene), David Martin (Susan) and Robin Stubbins (Maurice); his grandchildren, Nicole Martin, Jalen Stubbins and Ethan Martin (Makala); and his great grandchild Everleigh Martin.
