It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David W. Brinkworth (New Albany, Indiana), born in Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on January 17, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Brinkworth and Ruth Brinkworth; his wife Carolyn Brinkworth; his son David C. Brinkworth; and his brother John Brinkworth.
He is survived by: his children, Brian Brinkworth (Angie), James Brinkworth (Jannette) and Susan Brinkworth Graston (Matt); his sister Becky Schmidt (Leo); his grandchildren, Jason Deem (Jessie), Jennifer Combs, Dr. Megan Vissing (Jake), Luke Graston, Miya Major and Aaron Brinkworth; his great grandchildren, Noah Deem (Haleigh), Marley Combs, Ella and Palmer Vissing; and his great great grandchild Layla Deem.
Memorial contributions may be given in David's memory to Hosparus of Southern Indiana or New Albany High School Athletics.
