He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry John Meyer and Alma D. Meyer (Schlomann); his brother-in-law Donald Hermann; and his parents-in-law, Bertram Rutherford and Marcia Scrivner (Ward).
He is survived by: his wife Jane Rutherford Meyer; his sons, Craig Rutherford Meyer and Ross Rutherford Meyer (Jill Leversee); his granddaughter Lucy; his sister Marilyn (Meyer); and his sister-in-law Jean Rutherford (Muncie). He is also survived by three cousins.
Wayne would want any memorial contributions to be sent to 350.org; the Sunrise Movement; or the Unitarian Universalist Church of Muncie.
